Open my eyes? Screw you, you mouthy little bastard! I have dirtied my boots with the dust and blood of the Middle-East. I have looked these people in the eyes and watched as they accepted our "gift of freedom" and then abused the privelages we have given. I am no Bush fanatic, and neither am I a pinko-commie liberal dimwit. I do not hate people for the sake of hating them. I have slowly, over time, seen the truth. That truth is, simply, that MOST of the Muslims in the world see us as lower life forms whose deaths are no more important than the deaths of cows.
I am sick and tired of people running from the truth! There are bad people in the world, whether they are stirred up by GW or by each other, these people intend to distroy our way of life. I will not run from that truth. I will stand and fight it, here and abroad. Put your boots on the ground in Iraq, and let all of those "poor Muslims" know that you sympathize with them. They'll send your head home in a sack.
Sympathizer or not, your joke does raise a few questions:
1) Do people believe that the Bush administration has become so desperate that they would stoop so low to actually stage photos of Islamic extremists such as this?
2) Why do people insist on peace talks with these Islamic extremists? Did we deny them an opportunity to voice their opinions before they killed an estimated 2,973 Americans on Sept. 11?
3) Why are we still arguing over whether Bush forced the U.S. into a "war"? I personally applaud him for telling Europe to 'stick it' and push onto occupying Afghanistan and Iraq. I do not believe his administration has made all the right choices since then, but that does not matter now. What matters is where we go from here. We cannot pull out of Iraq or Afghanistan entirely. Why? Because a repeat of 9/11 will occur, that is why. It may not happen here in the States, but mark my words it will happen to us somewhere or to one of our allies.
So please fell free to wag your finger at Bush or whoever, after all it is your right to do so. Just do not be so brash as to spit in the faces of the men and women who sacrifice their lives protecting your right to bitch freely.
