A border patrol agent (Ignacio Ramos) who is in prison for shooting an illegal immigrant while on duty was beaten severely by other inmates. (pause for personal rage)

Ramos chose to be in the general population (before he knew which prison he was going to) in order to have regular contact with his family. There are currently 350 illegal immigrants in the facility where Ramos is currently incarcerated. The official White House response to requests for a pardon is that they "need to be careful when issuing pardons"(CNN File Video). An appeals court is still awaiting the official court transcript of the original trial so the appeals process can start.

Six days BEFORE being granted immunity, the "victim" of the shooting admitted that he was smuggling marijuana into the United States when he was shot. He admitted to belonging to a gang, and also told Border Patrol agents that the gang to which he belonged plans to "go hunting" for BP agents.

Two Border Patrol agents are in prison for shooting a drug smuggling illegal immigrant(who are we kidding? this guy is no immigrant, he is a drug dealer)who refused to cooperate with them, resisted arrest, and fled. The only reason that this dope dealer is in this country now to be granted immunity is because he was busted smuggling drugs into our country again shortly after the shooting.

This is just more of the same from the Justice Department and the White House. I am tired of Justice trying to be hard-core in the prosecution of police and law-enforcement agents. Convicts run the prison system, criminals run the courts, and now illegal dope peddling border jumping gang bangers are running investigations by Justice. The White House is so far up Felipe Caldoron's ass that we may never get anything done about the problems in Mexico. This is a big, incestuous fiasco, rooted in corporate interests and big money (and old money) families. I for one am sick to death of watching GW and his supporters kiss the ass of one of the most corrupt governments in the world. I am also sick to death of watching criminals and low-life scumbags get away with all of their crap while law enforcement officers are treated like the criminals SHOULD be treated.

Honest men and women are afraid to violate the "rights" of assholes all across the nation. We can't say or do anything about illegal immigration, lest we be accused of "hate crimes" or racism. We can't run off crack dealers and meth-heads because we might get shot. We can't shoot pedophiles, we can't pray, we can't say "Merry Christmas", we can't refer to the Ten Commandments in court, we can't put up a cross. We can't make fun of primitive cultures (one of my favorite past-times). We can't use common sense in Law-Enforcement because "profiling" is a bad word.

We are about a nuclear blast away from being tree-hanging crap-flinging monkeys.

Justice for Pedophiles

I have already written my views on the subject of child molesters, but I feel that it warrants a post of its own.

I feel that the problem lies in detterence. We all hear how bad child molesters have it in prison, but I don't think its enough to prevent the behavior. I propose a more effective solution.

Just shoot them.

Once convicted, a child molester should be dragged out behind the county courthouse and shot in the head. The body should be left in a ditch for the family to bury (if they care to).

This saves taxpayer money, serves justice (an unfamiliar term in America today), and prevents the creep from ever victimizing another child.

If you believe that this is too harsh, then you need to reevaluate your stance on the issue. Here are some facts:

98% of all convicted child molesters return to prison for repeat offenses within five years of release. (this probably means that 2% just don't get caught again)

100% of all convicted child molesters in the US are required to complete treatment while incarcerated. This means that, at best, current treatment methods for pedophiles are only 2% effective.

It costs $34,000.00 a year on average to keep a person in prison. The average life sentence is about 40 years. That comes to $1,360,000.00.

A .22 caliber bullet costs roughly $1.00.

So, from any angle, a quick death is the most cost effective, efficient, and sure way of preventing a child molester from repeating his/her crimes.

Remember, 1 in 4 girls in this country are sexually assaulted before they reach 18.

Family Trips

I was at a gas station last night, buying a pack of cigarettes, when a woman in her mid-forties came in with her teenage son and daughter. All three were high as a kite on crystal meth. The mom was bumping her gums ninety to nothing, and the two kids were so paranoid that they actually got tears in their eyes when I stared at them. The cashier made joke about "quality family time" to the woman (I guess he knew them) and they all relaxed and started making little jokes about late nights and not eating breakfast.

I don't know what to do or think about this stuff. Crystal meth is so easy to manufacture and distribute that there may not be a solution.

Are stiff prison sentences the answer? Is stronger drug education the answer?

This is a statement by some anti-gun organization or another (by the way, if you e-mail me stuff, cite sources when at all possible).

Let's talk about duty.

As a soldier, I know that duty is associated with responsibility and accountability. As a citizen, you have a duty to obey laws, pay taxes, and report crimes against other citizens. There is no "duty" to avoid threats. Common sense dictates that you avoid threats where possible, but let's face it: You can't always avoid a bad situation in a world full of crystal meth and crack.

According to the UN, The Constitution, and instinct, every human being alive has the right to defend themselves when threatened. If that human being is carrying a weapon, don't threaten them. If we still carried six-guns out in public there would be less "random" crime. Random Crime is the label applied to people taking stuff from or hurting people that they don't know or are not associated with. You know, car-jackings and such.

According to the quote above, we are obligated to cower down in fear on our sovereign soil because some junkie wants to take our hard earned property.

My duty is to my family first. I have to keep them safe, teach them to think for themselves, and show them an example of how a man behaves. Some twerp with a knife isn't taking shit from me except a beating. Some crackhead with a gun will probably get my car, but not until my family is dismounted. If a man tries to harm my family, he dies, by whatever means I have at my disposal.

If responsible law-abiding adults feel that they need to carry a gun, it is their right to do so. It is no small thing to kill a man, and a man nervous enough to pull a gun for no good reason is probably not going to shoot. I would like to see stats on self-defense shootings in this country.

Anyway, this is just another example of an apologist approach to life. Since I have a job and earn money, should I hide from the low-life who doesn't ? I don't think so.
