Justice for Pedophiles

I have already written my views on the subject of child molesters, but I feel that it warrants a post of its own.

I feel that the problem lies in detterence. We all hear how bad child molesters have it in prison, but I don't think its enough to prevent the behavior. I propose a more effective solution.

Just shoot them.

Once convicted, a child molester should be dragged out behind the county courthouse and shot in the head. The body should be left in a ditch for the family to bury (if they care to).

This saves taxpayer money, serves justice (an unfamiliar term in America today), and prevents the creep from ever victimizing another child.

If you believe that this is too harsh, then you need to reevaluate your stance on the issue. Here are some facts:

98% of all convicted child molesters return to prison for repeat offenses within five years of release. (this probably means that 2% just don't get caught again)

100% of all convicted child molesters in the US are required to complete treatment while incarcerated. This means that, at best, current treatment methods for pedophiles are only 2% effective.

It costs $34,000.00 a year on average to keep a person in prison. The average life sentence is about 40 years. That comes to $1,360,000.00.

A .22 caliber bullet costs roughly $1.00.

So, from any angle, a quick death is the most cost effective, efficient, and sure way of preventing a child molester from repeating his/her crimes.

Remember, 1 in 4 girls in this country are sexually assaulted before they reach 18.

Racial Profiling...

I have been the victim of racial profiling. Yup, me.

I guess when you mark "American Indian (not Alaskan Native)" on your race/ethnicity card, people just assume that you are good at stuff. That's right, I've been offered three or four state and federal jobs now. I've been offered scholarship money. I've been informed that I automatically qualify for government commodities (you know, that government cheese and canned pork).

I feel so dirty...

Anyway, these illegal immigrants that ICE has picked up are raising hell about racial profiling. They say that just because their skin is brown and they don't speak English that they were unfairly picked up and deported by ICE. Never mind that they had forged work papers and were here illegally, right? A group of Hispanic lawyers in Los Angeles and other areas are accusing the INS and ICE of racial discrimination.

Apparently these lawyers have been taking a lesson in Palestinian logic (you see, it doesn't make sense...oh, nevermind). Of course the INS and ICE are making determinations based on race! It ain't exactly 6ft tall blue-eyed and blonde-haired people sneaking across our border from Mexico! I bet when they are looking for Canadians, its a bit harder. It also helps when someone yells "La Immigra!" and folks take off running. The people running, those are the guys we're after. Does that mean that INS is discriminating against athletes?

I am so disgusted with the cries of racism in this country. Stupid people with small minds may hate one another based on skin color, but a great many of us have evolved past that point. If you want to talk about a reason to be suspicious of a particular ethnic group, then lets look at a few things...

What culture is most likely to live 8 to 10 persons to a household? What culture is least likely to learn English, even when here legally? What culture is most likely to take the side of illegal immigrants even if they themselves have lived here for generations? What culture comes to mind when I say illegal immigrant?

This is not racism, it is logic. If you are waving a Mexican flag and speaking Spanish, is it unreasonable of me to assume that you are a Mexican national? If you avoid authorities and go by the name "Bob" on first shift and "Sam" on second shift at the same factory, might I assume that you have false indentification?

If I run around in circles screaming, and you see smoke coming out of my pants, and I am begging for water, is it rediculous to assume that my ass is on fire?

100% Tuition Paid

I am a recruiter for the Army National Guard. I use several benefits of the Guard as selling points. These include College Tuition (we pay 100%), bonuses (up tp $20,000), and the student loan repayment program (up to $18,500). I also promote service to your country, pride in accomplishment, and being part of a team. I work for the 39th Infantry Brigade, which is one of the most deployable National Guard units in the country. I always talk about deployments to new recruits. I have pictures and awards from Egypt and Iraq on my desk. No one comes through my office without fully understanding that they can and will be sent overseas.

Now, war protesters, many of which are veterans and Active Duty soldiers are saying that they joined for college money and did not wish to get involved in the war...

No, you signed up to serve your country, and to faithfully follow your Commander-in-Chief. If you do not have the stomach for war, do not put on the uniform. The oath of enlistment mentions fighting battles, winning wars, and even sacrificing ones own life for their country, but never once does it mention college money or travel.

I am not a Republican or Democrat. I am not a serious fan of President Bush. I have my doubts about his competence, and even a few about his personal integrity. I do not believe that it is my place or the place of any soldier to stand arm-in-arm with Jane Fonda or Tim Robbins to protest the war in Iraq. If you wish to publicly criticize the war, fine, but do not stand with Hanoi Jane to do so. Do not claim that you "joined for college money". Have the courage of your convictions, and proclaim your true reasons for wanting to leave this war behind. If you are a coward, then leave the service. If you have viable reasons of conscience, by all means, tell the world why you protest this war.

Don't take the side of Jane Fonda, she is a traitor to all soldiers. Don't state that you only joined for college money, you took an oath. Do not let your own personal lack of courage be your guide.

Castrated Nation

We sent soldiers to our border, but we don't provide them with the means to defend themselves as such because "its a law enforcement issue". We are giving awards to soldiers because they retreated and avoided an international incident-in our country.

Don't get me wrong, the squad leader did the right thing. He followed orders, he protected his men, he did what he had to do. I would bet money that he is as pissed off as I am...

AMERICAN SOLDIERS ARE BEING FORCED TO RUN AWAY FROM FOREIGN NATIONALS WITH GUNS INSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES!!!
(all caps means I'm yelling, see, and bold means I'm even louder, but see, Italics, that means I'm really stressing the point, there)

Its one thing to fully arm our soldiers in a foreign land and then bind them with rules that keep them from destroying that land; It is another, more disgusting thing entirely to give them only enough ammunition to cover a retreat and bind them with rules that prevent them from defending the nation on sovereign American soil.

If you have anything to say that justifies this, please say it now. This is no longer a law enforcement issue, this is an issue of national security. Period. The Constitution says that our government will defend our nation from foreign invaders. What does your congressman have to say about this?

We used to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. After fifty years of Cold-War posturing and fat cat politics, we have been neutered.

I Want to Rant, but...

According to several reports across the internet, a group of Army National Guardsmen serving on our Southern border was forced to retreat to safety recently after being fired on by well-armed Mexican drug dealers. There are several points that I want to make about this story:

1. I cannot confirm the location of this alleged event. I have read three different accounts of the event, all claiming a different location and number of guardsmen and attackers involved (one even claimed that uniformed Mexican soldiers were involved)

2. I haven't heard anything about this on CNN, HNN, FoxNews, MSNBC, or the BBC.

3. I have heard nothing through official channels within the guard. I haven't even heard a rumor of this through the National Guard.

As much as I would like to rant and rave about this, I must have a verifiable source for the story. I will keep checking with my friends on the border. If you know of a good source for this story, preferably the AP, please post it in a comment.

Its All About Islam

I listened to talk radio again today (because I’m a dork), and people kept talking about how GW didn’t say enough about Iraq or the war on terror.

Good job, GW, you finally fooled some folks!

You see, all the talk about alternate fuel sources is really about Islam. We get about 11% of our oil from the Middle East. Europe gets a little more than that. If we can cut 20-30% of our oil consumption, we can break the Middle East. If they are broke, they cannot support Al Qaida (or however you spell it), Hamas, Hezbollah, or any other terrorist organizations.

You see, its not about hugging trees anymore. Subtleties aside, it is now your patriotic duty to use less gas. I know that coming from me, that reads a little sarcastic, but I mean it. Maybe we can’t get our heads around global warming, but we can get behind a plan to destroy our enemies, especially with little or no loss of American life.

So now we really are committing to a long-term goal. The new plan is to break the Middle East over the next fifty years. If it creates new jobs in America, and we actually commit to it, I’m for it.

As for Iraq, we still need to go for a military win. The whole economic strategy sounds good, but Hajis will only respect strength (if that). It wouldn’t hurt to drop a few dozen bombs on Iran, either.

I just keep getting the idea that people still don’t understand how big the problem with Islam is getting. Do you see the Terror Counter to your right? Click on it and scroll all the way down the first page until you get to the list of cities and countries that are having problems with radical Islam. These people are taking over wherever they can.

I know that GW isn’t the best that we have ever had. I certainly didn’t expect to ever be a fan. I just want to point out that he really is trying to get us to commit to long-term projects that will, over time, protect us from our enemies (some of them, anyway). I admire this.

23 January 2007

So Little Time...

So much has happened in the last few days that I can't possibly address it all. Browse through my previous posts and read all you can about Islam. Then read all that you can about illegal immigration. Then go to the Congress link and post something obnoxious.

I'll be back on track by Thursday...

History

"A nation that forgets its past can function no better than an individual with amnesia"-David McCullough 23April1978

Everybody wants to make historical comparisons. Iraq and Vietnam, this bad guy or that and Hitler, GW wants to be Reagan, etc. We don't pay attention very well.

History repeats itself. Not because it is natural, but because people forget, and so make the same mistakes. Now, I could go on about the fall of Rome, multiculturalism, any number of topics, but I'm going to focus on Iraq today.

No one but Rome has ever defeated an insurgency in the Middle East. Ask the British about Palestine. The questions that our military leaders need to be asking themselves are obvious: What mistakes have been made in the Middle East throughout history? What similar mistakes have been made in Iraq? What did the Romans do right and do their tactics apply today? What has been known to be effective in the past in a similar situation, and how can that be applied to Iraq?

Its a matter of taking the gloves off, according to a guy that I know. We cannot continue from a position of weakness. We have let Iraq know that we want them to handle their own affairs. We need to remind Iraq and the rest of the region that we are fully capable of returning the situation to a full scale military action. You know, the ugly stuff that CNN and FoxNews can't stomach.

We need to actually shock and awe these insurgents and all who support them. Remember air strikes? Those were fun. Remember when we were fighting that seemingly endless war and then we wiped out some really big cities and took the heart out of the enemy? I'm not saying we should nuke anyone. I'm saying we should reduce certain areas to rubble, women and children and old people be damned. We should have done so to Fallujah. We should close the borders of Iraq, but everyone knows that America cannot secure a border. If we catch Iranians involved in killing American troops, we should blow up some Iranians. Maybe that's harsh, but it IS fair.

I don't want Iraqis to suffer. I don't want Iraq to be unsafe for Iraqi children. I do want to win, though. If we make the environment harsh on our terms for awhile, we can eventually make a difference.

That Immigration Thing Again

I have failed to rant about another piece of the immigration problem.

Human beings are being enslaved in this country on a daily basis, due largely to the fact that people who are here illegaly are afraid to go to athourities when their basic human rights have been violated. Spousal abusers have started seeking out illegal immigrants because they won't report beatings and other abuses. Sweat shop owners are charging tens of thousands of dollars to smuggle people across the border and then taking the debt out in work hours, prostitution, and other forms of indentured servitude. Many people are contracting work to illegals, then when the job gets done and the bill comes due, they are calling immigration and having the work-force deported.

This is America, people, we're better than that.

The global economy is supposedly our problem. OK, I've already addressed that (see Free Money). What about Global Morality? Are we going to start treating people in America like thay do in Cambodia or Honduras?

Immigration can be productive, if controlled. This large influx of illegals has stirred something up in America. We are allowing ourselves as a population to be influenced, and not in a good way.

We need to stop this now. We must secure our borders and put real pressure on Mexico and Central America to educate and industrialize now. If we're going to equalize the standard of living, lets bring our neighbors up. If things go on the way they have been, we'll all end up in the gutter.

17 January 2007

Looking Forward

In four years, we will begin a phased withdrawal of our troops. Emboldened by our loss in Iraq, the Jihadists of the world will unite against the West and begin a slow and methodical unification of all Islamic nations. Then a true military campaign against the US will begin. The war will last for decades, ending in Islamic rule across most of the known world.

Crazy? Well, lets see about that.

Muslim extremists are currently infiltrating and taking over India ( a nuclear power), Pakistan (a nuclear power), Zimbabwe, Sudan, Somalia (almost), Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia, Venezuela, Paraguay, Fiji, The Phillipines, Brittain, and Ireland. Granted, in the westernmost of these nations, the work is slow, but in Africa (minus Somalia), India and Pakistan, things are going well.

Who is supporting these extremists? Bin Laden? No, he's almost out of the picture. Bin Laden is a symbol at best. The government of Iran? Certainly. Syria? Likely. Venezuela. Probably.

If we stay in Iraq, we have to win. We have to win so that we can keep them divided. If they unite (and that IS their plan), you can kiss your American dream goodbye.

My Favorite Quote on War

"Now, philanthropists may easily imagine there is a skillful method of disarming and overcoming an enemy without causing great bloodshed, and that this is the proper tendency of the Art of War. However plausable this may appear, still it is an error which must be extirpated; for in such dangerous things as War, the errors which proceed from a spirit of benevolence are the worst"-Karl von Clausewitz (1780-1831)

Couldn't have said it better myself...

You Debate, I'll Deploy

I've been out posting comments on the Congressional Blog (link titled Congress, to your right) and at the Capitol Hill Pundits Blog (Commentary from DC, also to your right) and it occurred to me that I come from a different planet than most of these people. You see, most of DC is discussing what the different options are for Iraq.

There are two choices in Iraq. Win or leave.

There is a colorful expression here in the South, perhaps you have heard it-"Shit or get off the pot."

That pretty much sums up the situation in Iraq. If we are going to invest our people, our time, and our money in Iraq, then lets get on with the ugly buisiness of war. If we are not yet ready to commit to winning (after 6 friggin years), then lets withdraw.
In the Army, we are taught that a leader must be able to make a decision. GW has made a decision. While he is going about the buisiness of leading, Congress is arguing and debating and investigating and discussing.

While the debate continued over whether or not we should be in Iraq, I was there. While Congress debates whether or not we should send more troops to Iraq, I'll be heading back (or someone like me).

What strikes me as funny is that this is supposed to be a different congress.

Whether you agree with him or not, you have to admit that GW may be the only real leader we have.

Family Trips

I was at a gas station last night, buying a pack of cigarettes, when a woman in her mid-forties came in with her teenage son and daughter. All three were high as a kite on crystal meth. The mom was bumping her gums ninety to nothing, and the two kids were so paranoid that they actually got tears in their eyes when I stared at them. The cashier made joke about "quality family time" to the woman (I guess he knew them) and they all relaxed and started making little jokes about late nights and not eating breakfast.

I don't know what to do or think about this stuff. Crystal meth is so easy to manufacture and distribute that there may not be a solution.

Are stiff prison sentences the answer? Is stronger drug education the answer?

Tell me what you think.

14 January 2007

Doodie

"This new bill would eliminate a citizen's duty to avoid the threat, by walking away or seeking refuge in a safe place and, instead, allows the gun user to "shoot first" to eliminate the threat. "-Raging Hippie

This is a statement by some anti-gun organization or another (by the way, if you e-mail me stuff, cite sources when at all possible).

Let's talk about duty.

As a soldier, I know that duty is associated with responsibility and accountability. As a citizen, you have a duty to obey laws, pay taxes, and report crimes against other citizens. There is no "duty" to avoid threats. Common sense dictates that you avoid threats where possible, but let's face it: You can't always avoid a bad situation in a world full of crystal meth and crack.

According to the UN, The Constitution, and instinct, every human being alive has the right to defend themselves when threatened. If that human being is carrying a weapon, don't threaten them. If we still carried six-guns out in public there would be less "random" crime. Random Crime is the label applied to people taking stuff from or hurting people that they don't know or are not associated with. You know, car-jackings and such.

According to the quote above, we are obligated to cower down in fear on our sovereign soil because some junkie wants to take our hard earned property.

My duty is to my family first. I have to keep them safe, teach them to think for themselves, and show them an example of how a man behaves. Some twerp with a knife isn't taking shit from me except a beating. Some crackhead with a gun will probably get my car, but not until my family is dismounted. If a man tries to harm my family, he dies, by whatever means I have at my disposal.

If responsible law-abiding adults feel that they need to carry a gun, it is their right to do so. It is no small thing to kill a man, and a man nervous enough to pull a gun for no good reason is probably not going to shoot. I would like to see stats on self-defense shootings in this country.

Anyway, this is just another example of an apologist approach to life. Since I have a job and earn money, should I hide from the low-life who doesn't ? I don't think so.

13 January 2007

E-Mails

Word of advice: Start researching everything you hear before you repeat it. There are some twisted people out there making up all kinds of stuff. Most of you have received the one about Barak Obama (or however you spell it). I'll bet you have all received the one about Chapter 9, verse 11 of the Koran, describing some fall of towers and dying eagles or some such. Ch9v11 of the Koran is actually about paying out to charity even if you helped a poor person or something like that.

You get my point. Snopes.com is a good resource for checking out rumors.

Anyway, I've changed my blog around a bit. Let me know if you like it.

12 January 2007

Follow Me!

So maybe I have to go back to Iraq, and maybe I don't. If everything that was said Wednesday night pans out, I'm willing. I believe, as do most soldiers, that if we were allowed to do our job with minimal interference from the media and the politicians, we could get Baghdad under control in about eighteen months.

Don't get me wrong, we will have to compromise with AlSadr and his bunch ( he'll get his eventually) and probably others of the same ilk. I believe that the words that the president said the other night sounded better than other words he has spoken. The words are good, and the source, well, he means well. The new guy in charge in Iraq is competent. The new SecDef is...not Rumsfeld, so what the heck.

You see, I can't get away from the idea that we can still come away from this situation with a new perspective as a nation. I know that we are sick of Vietnam comparisons, but pay attention anyway.

The thing that Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, and Iraq have in common is this-America did not "win". We may have stopped, we may have backed off, we may have forced a "cease fire" even, but we never won. We haven't really won a war since WW2. Examine this statement. Think it over and see if you can't figure out the root cause.

I want to win. I want to remind the world that we are the toughest SOBs on the block. Its not about politics, its about respect. If we can't follow through on one thing for 60 years, they are going to get the idea that they can attack us here at home, killing thousands and disrupting our lives...Oh, wait...

For the love of Mike (hi Mike), let's just win one already. I'm willing to go if you're willing to let me kick some ass. These people wipe their butts with their hands, for crying out loud. We can take them. Let our soldiers win.

Come on, let's go, follow me...

10 January 2007

State of the Union

Since all the funny guy with the red tie wanted to talk about was Iraq, I guess I'll give the Stat of the Union address here. Here goes...

We are in a state of denial. We keep expecting Congress to change things. We keep expecting the President to change things. Blah Blah Blah. WE have to change things. Follow the example of America's Gay Community (the AGC). That's right folks, you heard it here first! We need to get together and come up with a well defined agenda. We need to lobby Congress, get working-class characters on television sit-coms, and, most importantly, have parades every freaking week until we are recognized as a group to be pandered to by our illustrious leaders.

We are in a state of dormancy. We, the People haven't done a damn thing about any of this since the freaking sixties (and who remembers the sixties?). Wake up, stop whining, and GET INVOLVED. (If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding-Floyd)

We are the most stupid, lazy, arrogant, and wealthy people on the planet. Several generations worked very hard for us to get this way, and we are holding on to three out of that four as hard as we can. We have become a joke to Central and South America. We have become the source of unification for Islamic terrorists everywhere. We have forgotten the sacrifice of our forefathers (flawed men that they may have been) in order to create a better world.

All we have to do is learn to compromise on the little stuff. We all really want the same thing.
Forget about conservative or liberal for a moment. Think about what you really want: You want to be able to make a living, you want to raise your kids in a safe place, you want your kids to get a good education, and you want to retire with all the benefits that you have earned.

That's the American Dream. In order to keep a grip on that dream, some of the smaller details are going to have to fall by the wayside. Some things that I may not personally approve of or appreciate may have to be accepted. So be it. Better that than my grandchildren growing up in a third-world environment.

feel free to post comments

You Need A Raise

OK, Congress, here's a lesson in simple economics...

If the guy that works at Flash Market and McDonald's gets a raise, then his employer has to charge more for Ho-Hos and DumDums. If the guy busting tires makes more money, then his employer has to charge truck drivers more for tire service. If truck drivers get charged more, then stuff costs more to transport. If stuff costs more to transport, then your hard-earned dollar is worth less than it was...

So Congress today passed a bill to make the American Dollar worth less money.

How does that make you feel?

08 January 2007

Your Analysis

I don't know who wrote this article (to your left), but he is a genius. I never thought of this, but requiring that welfare recipients pass a drug screen would probably save taxpayers a great deal of money.

What I want to know is how can anyone argue with this? What could anyone possibly say to refute the logic of this proposal?

I guarantee someone will raise the race issue. Maybe they are right. Maybe we do look at things too much in terms of race in the United States.

Because we have been led by the nose in that direction. Let me paint a picture...

LuAnn got pregnant right after high school. Anthony, her boyfriend, deals dope. He threw some money her way for awhile, but he ended up in prison, so now she gets nothing. She goes through a string of men, none of which are very nice, and they never stick around. LuAnn gets her housing from HUD, her food on her food-stamp card, and HUD even helps her pay her utilities. She can't afford to get a car, but her brother tells her if she moves a little dope for him, she can make enough for a nice ride, and maybe some decent clothes for herself and her daughter.

I could go on, but you get the picture. This could be anybody anywhere. I've known plenty of white people who lived this life. I've seen plenty of black and hispanic people living this way, too. So what is the root of it all?

Many claim economic issues are the root cause. Many claim that this is an urban issue. A lot of people claim that it is a lifestyle choice, typical of "white trash", blacks, and hispanics. I know one guy in particular that would claim it was a racial problem, even as he raises his children on his own because his ex-wife is living this way.

The real problem is based on a lack of values, work-ethic, or family structure. We are afraid to assume that we are right in this country, and so we adopt an apologist view when it comes to welfare and social services. Don't get me wrong, I understand that people do fall on hard times and need help. But how do we justify people who are 45 years old and have never paid rent or held a job. We are no longer helping, we are supporting. People want to talk about term limits for politicians, but what about limits on social services and welfare?

In a NORMAL household, there is a mother and a father, there is at least one source of income, and the two parents raise the children together. Things happen. People split up, fall on hard times, or whatever. So we have a wonderful system in our country to help people get on their feet. This system was created by people who understood that we are all responsible for each other as citizens of the greatest country on Earth. I don't believe that this system was created to take the place of the family or gainful employment.

We should enforce our values. We should reestablish the nuclear family as the expected norm in our society. We should see to it that people are held responsible for their actions. I have noticed that in America, only those who take responsibility are held responsible. That's not really how it is supposed to work. Maybe we do need to educate people who need help. Maybe job training is the answer.

I do know that urinalysis for food stamps, HUD, and other programs is certainly a step in the right direction.

What do you think?

So Let's Start to Fix It

I am conducting an experiment. Let’s see how much of a difference a small group of people can make. The following is a letter that I am sending to my Representative and my Senator. I hope that you will copy and paste this letter for your own use. If you live in my district, just contact me and I will be happy to mail your signed copy at my expense. I am going to try to get 500 of these signed and mailed by Friday, January 12. Feel free to print copies and use this letter.

As a registered voter and your constituent, I feel obligated to remind you of your situation. You work for me and others like me. If you do not do a satisfactory job during your current term of office, you will not be re-elected. In order for you to be able to satisfy your constituents, it is only fair that we clearly communicate our expectations.

We, the People, are fed up with the illegal immigration situation. We believe that the Congress and the President have failed thus far in their duties concerning said situation. We believe that drastic measures are necessary in order to take control of the problem.

First, we need a wall along the border where at all possible. Not a fence, a wall. The building of this wall should be done by American workers, and paid for with foreign aid money previously earmarked for Mexico and Central America. In a world full of terrorists who would destroy our country at any opportunity, a militarized Southern border is the only secure control measure available.

Second, we must not grant amnesty to those in this country illegally, at least not on the terms being considered at this time. If I, an American Citizen, were to steal another citizen’s Social Security number in order to get a job and for credit purposes, I would be risking stiff fines and/or time in prison. We cannot forgive these crimes, as it sets a poor precedent, and only encourages more illegal immigration. We also feel that Social Security benefits should not be available to immigrants until ten years from the date of naturalization. This last term is non-negotiable.

Third, we want pressure applied to Mexico and the rest of Central America to establish a viable public education system. An educated nation is an enterprising nation, and an enterprising culture does not stay impoverished for long. We, the People are willing to provide a larger percentage of our foreign aid budget to Mexico and Central America for such a purpose.

Finally, we feel that the Mexican government should be formally censured by Congress for their part in our illegal immigration problem. It is well known that the Mexican government has long encouraged and supported the immigration into the United States by illegal means. Many cultures would call this just cause for military action, so in the very least Mexico should receive a formal reprimand of some sort.

Please understand that the immigration issue is only the first of many about which we will be corresponding.

I look forward to your response.

Respectfully,

I Read it Somewhere...

Does Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution of the United States apply to illegal immigration?

I believe that it does.

Does Article VI, paragraph 3 of the same document require that our government follow the directives and duties laid out in that document.

Without a doubt.

The President is required to see that all laws are enforced. Congress and the courts are required to see that the Constitution is not violated.

Mexico has violated the sanctity of our borders by encouraging and even helping her citizens violate the laws of the United States. Our President has failed to see that laws have been enforced. Our Congress has failed to see that our states have been protected from invasion by foreign nations.

And We the People have failed to call them on it.

Any reform that forgives illegal immigration and encourages more is not only an invitation for more malicious acts within our borders, but also a violation of the very foundations on which our country was built.

We should get very loud about this right now, because in just a few short years, the immigrant population in this country will be too large to contend with ( if not already).

@##$%&*@!! Mexico!!

Very shortly, the President of the United States of America will be signing an immigration reform bill. The bill contains the following items:

Illegal immigrants who become legal will be able to claim the social security that they paid in while working illegally.

Newly legalized immigrants will be able to draw social security after 18 months (I had to work for ten years to be eligible for MY social security, and so did you)

There's other stuff, but I'm too pissed off to think clearly right now.

On to other stuff.

The Mexican government has handed out GPS (Global Position Something...) devices to immigrants crossing (illegally) into Arizona, "in order to make their journey less dangerous".

I'm tired. I am getting too old to be this frustrated. We have got to make this stop. My congressman will soon be sick of my letters and phone calls (probably not enough to DO anything) on this and other matters. So I am wondering what can be done.

Are there any SOLUTIONS to this problem? Does anyone really care?
