We sent soldiers to our border, but we don't provide them with the means to defend themselves as such because "its a law enforcement issue". We are giving awards to soldiers because they retreated and avoided an international incident-in our country.
Don't get me wrong, the squad leader did the right thing. He followed orders, he protected his men, he did what he had to do. I would bet money that he is as pissed off as I am...
AMERICAN SOLDIERS ARE BEING FORCED TO RUN AWAY FROM FOREIGN NATIONALS WITH GUNS INSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES!!!
(all caps means I'm yelling, see, and bold means I'm even louder, but see, Italics, that means I'm really stressing the point, there)
Its one thing to fully arm our soldiers in a foreign land and then bind them with rules that keep them from destroying that land; It is another, more disgusting thing entirely to give them only enough ammunition to cover a retreat and bind them with rules that prevent them from defending the nation on sovereign American soil.
If you have anything to say that justifies this, please say it now. This is no longer a law enforcement issue, this is an issue of national security. Period. The Constitution says that our government will defend our nation from foreign invaders. What does your congressman have to say about this?
We used to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. After fifty years of Cold-War posturing and fat cat politics, we have been neutered.

but good sir, if we shot those poor innocent armed mexican men in body armor and battle gear, it would cause a major international incident, and presidente fox would be so mad he might stop exporting cheap, profitable mexican made goods to america! we cant make presidente fox angry! our own president says so!
